Soccer Game Preview: Menomonee Falls vs. Union Grove

The Menomonee Falls Phoenix will head out to take on the Union Grove Broncos at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Menomonee Falls' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Menomonee Falls' offense. They lost 4-0 to Hamilton on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Elkhorn kept up with Union Grove until halftime on Tuesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Broncos blew past the Elks 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Union Grove.

They hit Elkhorn with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Rhyan Hood, Marley Busey, and Sorrina Hempel.

Union Grove's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Menomonee Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Menomonee Falls beat Union Grove 2-0 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Phoenix since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
