Volleyball Recap: Salado Victorious

Salado saw some tournament action on Friday. They came out on top against the Clifton Cubs by a score of 2-0.

Salado's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Clifton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-3.

Salado and Clifton should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Eagles will take on Troy at 7:00 p.m. on September 2 with a big rank advantage (53 vs. 526). Meanwhile, Clifton (ranked 85th) will meet Blum (ranked 341st) at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
