New Glarus won the last time they faced Belleville and things went their way on Friday too. The Glarner Knights narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Wildcats 4-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Glarner Knights.

Ethan Colstad was excellent, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with four stolen bases and one run. Kamm Nehmer was another key player, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

New Glarus' win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Belleville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-9.

Coming up, New Glarus will challenge Mineral Point at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Belleville, they will square off against Lodi at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
