Baseball Recap: Crestview Cougars vs. Seneca East Tigers

Crestview proved they can win big on Friday (they won by ten) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Seneca East Tigers 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cougars have posted since April 24th.

Carson Keener was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. Keener was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.
