Springfield Catholic had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. Everything went their way against the New Heights Christian Academy Cougars as they made off with an 11-1 victory. For the Fighting Irish, this counts as revenge for the 14-13 win the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.
