Football Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Skyline's game on Friday was all tied up 13-13 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 23-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pioneer Pioneers. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Pioneers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Isaac Skadsem threw for 193 yards and two TDs. Andre Neal was his top target, picking up 122 receiving yards and a pair of scores. On the ground, Lyuj Miki rushed for 49 yards.

Among those leading the charge was Isaac Henley, who rushed for 43 yards and two touchdowns. Those 43 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Pioneer, they moved to 2-4 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Skyline will face off against Dexter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Dreadnaughts have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Pioneer, they will take on Monroe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
