Recap: Oakridge Owls vs. Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool Warriors
The Oakridge Owls were the 64-55 winner over the Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool Warriors when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Oakridge lost to Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool on the road by a decisive 50-33 margin on Saturday. Oakridge has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Toby Pike continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds. The game was Pike's 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Symes, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds.
Oakridge's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3.
Oakridge will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cistercian at 6:30 p.m. on January 9, 2024. Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool's road trip will continue as they head out to face Weatherford Christian at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th. Weatherford Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1343rd, while Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool is ranked 298th).
