It was the first time this season that Hawes posted two or more blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Bierlein, who scored two points along with three steals.
Even though they lost, Community Baptist Christian were working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Fellowship Baptist Academy at home against the on Tuesday as the team secured a 55-26 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Fellowship Baptist Academy.
Community Baptist Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season. As for Fellowship Baptist Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
