Basketball Recap: Bunker Hill Comes Up Short

Bunker Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell to the North Iredell Raiders 71-65. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (58), the Bears still had to take the loss.

Bunker Hill's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for North Iredell, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

Bunker Hill won't have much time to rest: their next game is against South Iredell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bunker Hill has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 189 points over their last three matchups. As for North Iredell, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on East Surry at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
