Basketball Recap: New Caney Comes Up Short

New Caney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the College Park Cavaliers 99-33. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-25.

New Caney's defeat dropped their record down to 6-17. As for College Park, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-8.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Conroe the next time they take the court. College Park will host Conroe at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while New Caney will head out to face them at 1:00 p.m. on January 18th.
