Basketball Game Preview: Mesa Vista Trojans vs. McCurdy Bobcats

Mesa Vista is on a 20-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while McCurdy is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Mesa Vista Trojans will host the McCurdy Bobcats at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Mesa Vista knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully McCurdy likes a good challenge.

Last Saturday, Mesa Vista strolled past Mora with points to spare, taking the game 60-45. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Rangers/Rangerettes recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, McCurdy didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Mora on Friday, but they still walked away with a 38-34 win.

Mesa Vista's victory bumped their record up to 22-4. As for McCurdy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-8 record this season.
