St. Vincent de Paul and Healdsburg are an even 5-5 against one another  since April of 2022, but likely not for long. The Mustangs will take on the Greyhounds at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Healdsburg took a loss in their last  match and will be looking to turn the tables on St. Vincent de Paul, who comes in off a win.
Having struggled with 11  defeats in a row, St. Vincent de Paul  turned things around against St. Bernard's  on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  5-4  win over the Crusaders. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Mustangs have posted  since March 13th.
 Will Hankins spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned runs on ten hits.
 At the plate,  Omar Mughannam was  excellent,  going 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases and two  runs. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in March.  Tyler Chelew also deserves some recognition as  he  scored his first  run of the season.
Meanwhile, Healdsburg fought the good fight in their extra-innings  game against Analy  on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took  a  5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
  Eric Nielsen was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  pitched eight innings while giving up just two earned runs off   two  hits.
 St. Vincent de Paul's win bumped their record up to 3-13. As for Healdsburg, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6.
 St. Vincent de Paul might still be hurting after the  9-3 defeat they got from Healdsburg  when the teams last played  back in March. Can the Mustangs avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
