Baseball Recap: Dundee Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Dundee had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Pinckney Pirates, falling 16-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 11-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Dundee saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joey Brink, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Pinckney now has a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Dundee will face off against Ida at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pinckney, they will take on Cadillac at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
