Football Game Recap: White House-Heritage vs. Macon County

Macon County won the last time they faced White House-Heritage, and things went their way on Friday, too. Macon County blew past White House-Heritage 29-7. Macon County were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Macon County's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 20 points in the first half. White House-Heritage came up with 7 to make it 20-7 heading into the break. The Macon County defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the matchup. The victory bumped their record up to 1-2. White House-Heritage are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.

Next week Macon County take on Cumberland County at 7:00 PM. As for White House-Heritage, they will face off against Greenbrier.
