Volleyball Recap: Toombs County Bulldogs vs. Brantley County Herons        
        
		
             Toombs County was the  2-1 winner over Brantley County when they last played one another  on Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Toombs County Bulldogs fell just short of the Brantley County Herons by a score of  2-1 on Tuesday.
 Toombs County started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-19,  15-9.
 Toombs County's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Arianna Hill, who  had seven  kills, three  digs, and a  block. Another player making a difference was  Emma Wright, who  had four  aces.
 Toombs County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Brantley County,  the  victory snapped their losing streak at four games  and leaves them with a 12-16 record.
 Toombs County will head out to  face off against Savannah  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Toombs County is facing Savannah at the right time seeing as Savannah is stuck on  a  five-game losing streak. As for Brantley County, they will venture away from home to  square off against Woodville-Tompkins  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
