Beverly has gone 8-1-1 against Salem recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Panthers will look to defend their home pitch against the Witches at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Beverly took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand Andover a 2-0 shutout. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Beverly's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked second, while Andover are ranked 63rd).

Meanwhile, Salem sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over Amesbury on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Salem.

Beverly's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Salem, their win bumped their record up to 6-4-1.

Everything went Beverly's way against Salem in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Beverly made off with a 6-2 victory. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Witches turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
