Baseball Recap: Holly Springs Beats Cary for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Holly Springs owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Wednesday. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over the Cary Imps. The win was familiar territory for the Golden Hawks, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Anthony Zezza made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
