Volleyball Recap: Harrison Panthers vs. Coronado Cougars
It was a proper cat-fight when Harrison challenged Coronado on Tuesday. The Panthers came up short against the Cougars, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 9th.
Harrison was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-10, 25-20.
Imani Warner paced Harrison's offense, picking up nine kills. Warner got some help from Emma Gadlin and her 12 assists.
Harrison has been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 17 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season. As for Coronado, their victory bumped their record up to 4-15.
Harrison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Coronado, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Denver South on the 31st.
