Softball Recap: Ayersville Pilots vs. Edgerton Bulldogs
After losing to Edgerton the last time they met, Ayersville decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Ayersville Pilots had just enough and edged the Edgerton Bulldogs out 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for Ayersville.
Aeriel Brown was incredible, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with a home run.
Ayersville now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Edgerton, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
Ayersville will head out on the road to take on Paulding at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Paulding will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Ayersville surely won't give up without a fight. As for Edgerton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Antwerp at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Edgerton will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak dating back to last season alive.
