Volleyball Recap: Summit Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Summit won the last time they faced Arroyo Valley and Christian Salivio did his part to make sure it happened again. The SkyHawks put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday with plenty of help from Salivio, who had ten digs and three aces. He has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times he's played.

While Summit won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-23, 25-18.

The victory was the third in a row for Summit, bringing their record up to 3-0. As for Arroyo Valley, with the defeat, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 4-3.

Coincidentally, Summit and Arroyo Valley will both be playing Eisenhower the next time they take the court. The SkyHawks will head out to face the Eagles at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Hawks will host them at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
