Baseball Game Preview: Atlanta Rabbits vs. De Kalb Bears

Atlanta is on a ten-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while De Kalb is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Atlanta Rabbits will welcome the De Kalb Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last five games Atlanta has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

While Atlanta's win against Longview wasn't quite the blowout they won the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Atlanta had just enough and edged out Longview 2-1.

Meanwhile, everything went De Kalb's way against Wolfe City on Saturday as De Kalb made off with a 9-2 victory. Considering the Bears have won five matchups by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Cortlen White was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

De Kalb's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Atlanta, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Atlanta came out on top in a nail-biter against De Kalb in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-1. Does Atlanta have another victory up their sleeve, or will De Kalb turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
