Soccer Recap: Pflugerville Connally Comes Up Short

Pflugerville Connally was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Elgin Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in February.

Pflugerville Connally's goal came courtesy of Jennifer Cortes, which was the first she's scored this season.

Pflugerville Connally's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Elgin, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-9-2 record.
