Soccer Game Preview: Lawrence North vs. Cathedral

The Lawrence North Wildcats will take on the Cathedral Fighting Irish at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lawrence North's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Lawrence North is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They never let Warren Central get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Lawrence North's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 28th, while Warren Central are ranked 172nd).

Lawrence North's one-goal win came courtesy of Dylan Keeney, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cathedral). Everything went their way against Herron on Tuesday as they made off with a 6-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for Cathedral, who have now won four matches in a row.

Lawrence North's win bumped their record up to 10-5-3. As for Cathedral, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 10-5-3.
