Schalmont faced Niskayuna in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Sabres fell just short of the Silver Warriors by a score of 2-1. Schalmont's defeat signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Selena Cassano, who's now up to 27 this season.

Schalmont's loss dropped their record down to 13-2. As for Niskayuna, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3.

As of now, neither Schalmont nor the Silver Warriors have any future games scheduled.
