Softball Recap: Palmer Comes Up Short

Palmer lost against Ware back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Panthers came up short against the Indians, falling 15-5.

Palmer saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Swist, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Palmer's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Ware, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

The future could be bright for both Palmer and Ware: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Panthers will look to extend Monson's six-game losing streak when they meet at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Ware will try to hand Quaboag Regional their fourth-straight defeat when the two meet at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
