Basketball Recap: Central Catholic Comes Up Short

Central Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 61-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Billerica Memorial Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-33 last Friday.

Central Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Billerica Memorial, they pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Central Catholic will take on Burlington at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Billerica Memorial, they will face off against Andover at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
