Shady Side Academy hadn't done well against Ligonier Valley recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bulldogs claimed a resounding 42-6 victory over the Rams. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 40-28 win the Rams walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

The victory (which was Shady Side Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 42.0 points this season. As for Ligonier Valley, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.
