Volleyball Game Preview: Bethany Community Wolves vs. Piedmont Classical Bobcats

The Bethany Community Wolves will face off against the Piedmont Classical Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Bethany Community came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Ragsdale, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Wolves in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-20, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Piedmont Classical lost 3-0 to Leadership Academy on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-11, 25-11.

Bethany Community's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Piedmont Classical, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11.

Everything went Bethany Community's way against Piedmont Classical when the teams last played back in September, as Bethany Community made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Wolves repeat their success, or do the Bobcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
