Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Jayce Medlin stepped things up a notch to give Ware Shoals the 'W'. Medlin scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-1, which was good enough to set a new career-high in stolen bases.

Medlin's strong effort led Ware Shoals over McCormick and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets are a perfect 9-0 against the Chiefs going back to March of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
