Basketball Game Preview: Northumberland Indians vs. Lancaster Red Devils

The Northumberland Indians will face off against the Lancaster Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Northumberland is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Colonial Beach 80-36. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Drifters: they've now won nine in a row.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lancaster, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They breezed past Chincoteague to the tune of 60-26 on Wednesday.

Lancaster's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Northumberland, their win bumped their record up to 16-3.

Northumberland couldn't quite get it done against Lancaster when the teams last played two weeks ago as they fell 63-54. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
