Football Recap: Parker Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Parker and Muscle Shoals squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Parker had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 17-14. Despite 105 more yards than the Trojans, the Thundering Herd couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Dylan Reese threw for 200 yards and one TD. Kentrell Davis was his top target, picking up 93 receiving yards. On the ground, Isaiah Miles rushed for 56 yards and one score.

Muscle Shoals can attribute much of their success to Davian Reynolds, who rushed for 82 yards and one touchdown.

Parker's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Muscle Shoals, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Parker does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Muscle Shoals, they will face off against Mountain Brook at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans will need to watch out since the Spartans have now posted at least 31 points in their last five matchups.
