Basketball Game Preview: Cypress Creek Bears vs. Timber Creek Wolves

The Cypress Creek Bears will head out to face off against the Timber Creek Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cypress Creek will be strutting in after a win while Timber Creek will be coming in after a loss.

Last Thursday, everything went Cypress Creek's way against Lake Buena Vista as Cypress Creek made off with a 72-46 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Meanwhile, in Friday's Canine Competition, Timber Creek had to take the L. They took a 54-40 bruising from Melbourne on Friday. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cypress Creek has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-12 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Timber Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.

Cypress Creek didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Timber Creek in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 42-37 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Timber Creek's Dontae Verderber, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 boards.
