Basketball Game Preview: Glencoe Crimson Tide vs. Sherwood Bowmen

Glencoe is 0-10 against Sherwood since January of 2020 but things could change on Wednesday. The Glencoe Crimson Tide will host the Sherwood Bowmen at 7:15 p.m. Glencoe is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.1 points per game this season.

Glencoe took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They pulled ahead with a 44-43 photo finish over McDaniel.

It was another big night for Dillon Moody, who went 7 of 11 on his way to 16 points along with eight boards and eight blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Terrence Townsend, who posted eight points.

Meanwhile, Sherwood blew past Sandy, posting a 79-52 win. The Bowmen have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 20 points or more this season.

Sherwood's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.4 points. As for Glencoe, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.
