Basketball Recap: Wawasee Comes Up Short

Wawasee lost against Westview back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Wawasee received a blow as they fell 58-44 to Westview. Wawasee just can't catch a break and has now endured four defeats in a row.

Wawasee's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Westview, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wawasee will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on East Noble at 7:45 p.m. on February 28th. As for Westview, they will be playing at home against Goshen at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Goshen is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.6 points per game this season.
