Football Recap: Crisp Academy Comes Up Short

Crisp Academy extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 12 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-5. They were dealt a 48-0 loss at the hands of the Fullington Academy Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-8 back in August.

As for Fullington Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 21 points or more this season.

Fullington Academy found their leader in sophomore Blake Hendrickson, who rushed for 70 yards and two scores on only five carries, and also threw for 173 yards and three TDs while completing 76.9% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Brayden Cole, who picked up 97 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Crisp Academy has already played their next match, a 47-0 defeat against Westwood on the 19th. As for Fullington Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 34-28 loss against Citizens Christian Academy on the 19th.
