The Perry-Lecompton Kaws will challenge the Riley County Falcons on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Thursday, Perry-Lecompton didn't have quite enough to beat Jefferson West and fell 7-6. The loss continues a trend for the Kaws in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, Riley County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Sabetha, falling 19-8. That's two games in a row now that the Falcons have lost by exactly 11 runs.

Perry-Lecompton now has a losing record of 8-9-1. As for Riley County, their loss dropped their record down to 7-15.
