Madeleine Magdelano posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits (and not a single walk). She was up against Central and has quite the history against that squad, as she also had a great game the last time she faced them back in March of 2024. Magdelano has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Magdelano and Imperial will take on Holtville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
