Softball Recap: Springstead Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

Springstead put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Weeki Wachee Hornets with a sharp 17-2 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2025.

Madison Mayon looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Alivia Miller, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Kamie Pond was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs and two stolen bases.

Springstead was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .593. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2025.

Springstead's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Weeki Wachee, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
