Football Recap: Newport Buffaloes vs. Juniata Valley Hornets
Newport had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a blow against the Juniata Valley Hornets on Saturday, falling 34-7.
Juniata Valley can attribute much of their success to Vincent Hoover, who picked up 53 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Newport will face off against Line Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Newport is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home dating back to last season. As for Juniata Valley, they will square off against North Star at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
