Softball Recap: Meyersdale Red Raiders vs. Fannett Metal
Meyersdale had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They beat Fannett Metal on Tuesday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 10-0. The result was nothing new for Meyersdale, who have now won 17 games by six runs or more so far this season.
Isabella Sleasman was incredible, going 2-for-2 with a triple, two RBI, and a run. Zoe Hetz was another key contributor, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two RBI and a double.
Meyersdale pushed their record up to 20-2 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Fannett Metal, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-9.
