Football Game Preview: Pioneer Panthers vs. South Adams Starfires

The Pioneer Panthers will take on the South Adams Starfires at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Pioneer sitting on 11 straight wins and South Adams on seven.

Pioneer is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past LaVille 34-14. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

Shiloh Rine was his usual excellent self, rushing for 184 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. Those 184 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Vanmeter, who rushed for 139 yards and a pair of scores.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday South Adams sidestepped North Miami for a 25-22 victory.

Pioneer's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for South Adams, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.
