Basketball Recap: Plymouth Comes Up Short

Plymouth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 27-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Western Reserve Roughriders. The contest marked the Big Red's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Plymouth's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Western Reserve, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-11.

Plymouth will face off against New London at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. New London's defense has only allowed 27.8 points per game this season, so Plymouth's offense will have their work cut out for them. Western Reserve has already played their next match (against Monroeville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
