The Archbishop Wood Vikings will face off against the Central Bucks South Titans at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Archbishop Wood is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.
Archbishop Wood's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Villa Joseph Marie as they made off with a 9-0 victory. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Jems recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Not much got past Graciene Gale, who gave up just two hits and racked up nine Ks to keep Villa Joseph Marie off the board.

At the plate, Archbishop Wood got a big performance out of Haley Kley, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2. The dominant performance also gave Kley a new career-high in RBI (two). Lilliana Walters was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3.
Archbishop Wood hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Villa Joseph Marie struck out nine times.
Meanwhile, Central Bucks South was able to grind out a solid victory over Central Bucks West on Tuesday, taking the game 7-3.
Brooke Taylor spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on six hits and racked up nine Ks. Those nine strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
On the hitting side, Central Bucks South let Cam Lee and Maddie Motley run wild. Lee scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3, while Motley scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Erin Ruddell, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI.
The win got Archbishop Wood back to even at 2-2. As for Central Bucks South, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Friday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Archbishop Wood hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .340. However, it's not like Central Bucks South struggles in that department as they've averaged .359. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
