Volleyball Recap: Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Takes a Loss

If Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Yellow Medicine East last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Fighting Saints lost 3-0 to the MACCRAY Wolverines on Tuesday. The Fighting Saints haven't had much luck with the Wolverines recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for MACCRAY, they pushed their record up to 16-4 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Central Minnesota Christian on the 2nd. As for MACCRAY, they will venture away from home to face off against Hills-Beaver Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
