Soccer Game Preview: Kewaskum vs. Notre Dame Academy

The Kewaskum Indians will face off against the Notre Dame Academy Tritons on Saturday. Kewaskum's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Kewaskum is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Fox Valley Lutheran just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Thursday. They and the Foxes finished up their match with a 1-1 draw. The result kept Kewaskum happy, as they haven't lost a game since October 13th.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Notre Dame Academy walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Chargers on Thursday. Considering Notre Dame Academy have won ten matchups by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Kettle Moraine Lutheran with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Liam West (2), Seamus Green, and Jacob Broullire.

The win was the fourth in a row for Notre Dame Academy, bringing their record up to 14-4-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those four contests. With that draw, Kewaskum's record moves to 16-5-3.
