The Northwest Christian Crusaders will challenge the San Tan Foothills Sabercats at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Northwest Christian knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully San Tan Foothills likes a good challenge.

Northwest Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by an 18-1 margin over Odyssey Institute on Friday. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Minotaur recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Payson hit San Tan Foothills with a seven-run second inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Sabercats lost 12-1 to the Longhorns. The defeat continues a trend for the Sabercats in their meetings with the Longhorns: they've now lost three in a row.

San Tan Foothills saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joseph Lorona, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

San Tan Foothills' loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Northwest Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 17-6.
