Palo Duro came into Wednesday's matchup looking for another win against Trinity Christian, but John Cooper wouldn't allow it. The Lions came out on top against the Dons by a score of 73-62 on Wednesday for which the team can thank Cooper, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games he's played.

Trinity Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Palo Duro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Trinity Christian will take on Frenship at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Palo Duro, they will face off against Lamar at 3:00 p.m. on December 5.
