Volleyball Recap: Malad's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Malad entered their tilt with Wendell on Saturday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win on Wednesday.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Malad was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-2, 25-12.

Despite the loss, Wendell still got an impressive performance from Kaleimys Nieves-Ramos, who had 11 digs. Nieves-Ramos is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last 11 games she's played.

Malad's victory bumped their record up to 24-9. As for Wendell, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-13.
