Softball Game Preview: ED White Commanders vs. Riverside Generals

The ED White Commanders will head out to square off against the Riverside Generals at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

ED White is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight games dating back to last season on Thursday. They came up short against Wolfson, falling 22-0.

Meanwhile, Riverside fell victim to Sandalwood and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 27-0 to the Saints. The loss continues a trend for the Generals in their meetings with the Saints: they've now lost six in a row.

Riverside saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was A Miller, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases.

ED White's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Riverside, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

ED White might still be hurting after the 22-7 loss they got from Riverside in their previous matchup back in March of 2025. Can the Commanders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
