Volleyball Recap: Central Falls Extends Winning Streak to Six

Central Falls had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Juanita Sanchez Complex Cavaliers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in June of 2024.

One reason for the win was Central Falls' just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-15, 25-10.

Leading Central Falls to victory were Daniel Rojo Rodrigues and Jovanny Lopez. Rojo Rodrigues had seven digs and four aces, while Lopez had three aces and one block. What's more, Lopez racked up 22 assists, the most he's had over his last two matchups.

Central Falls' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2. As for Juanita Sanchez Complex, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

After both having extra time off, Central Falls and Lincoln will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. The Lions will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. Juanita Sanchez Complex has already played their next contest (against Johnston), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
